Day 1:- Arusha – Tarangire
Depart for the Tarangire National Park. The park is characterized by low-lying hills on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. There is spectacular natural vegetation that consists mainly Acacia woodland, giant African Baobab trees, and there a huge swamp areas. This serves as a wildlife Sanctuary especially the dry period where animals hover for the green foliage and serves as a drinking point. The Park is home to unique rare species of animals, the greater kudu, the fringed eared Oryx, and the ashy starlings. After picnic lunch, continue for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight in the lodge.
Day 2:- Tarangire – Lake Manayara
After breakfast, leave from the hotel and drive to Lake Manyara National Park. The park offers an Ornithological aspect of safari with its big flocks of wading birds to mention the flamingos. The forest is characterized by large acacia trees where Big herds of elephants dominates. There are hot springs too the fact that this region is part of the rift valley. L.Manyara is also home to the famous tree climbing lions as well as buffaloes, giraffe, hippos, baboons, flamingo, ostrich, and a variety of plain animals. Lunch is picnic. Continue with the game drive while leaving the park before sundown as you retire to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 3:-Lake Manyara- Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park as you climb out the escarpments up the meandering road along the mountainous Karatu region and through Ngoro Ngoro Conservation Area with thick rain forest. Take a breath at the view point on the crater rim to view the panoramic landscape and a massive crater. The road descends into the open wilderness of Serengeti National Park with its characteristics rolling hills that stretch beyond horizons. Proceed to the central park otherwise the Seronera area a habitat rich with wildlife. Continue for lunch in the lodge before embarking on an evening game drive. Overnight in the lodge.
Day 4:- Serengeti –Ngoro Ngoro Crater
After breakfasts embark on a half day’s game drive offering the opportunity to explore the vast savanna grassland. Animals are in abundance and you have the chance to sport the big five(Elephants, Lion, Buffaloes, leopard, and the Rhino) Other plain animals(giraffes, gnus, zebras, impalas, gazelles etc.) are easily seen grazing along the drive ways. After picnic lunch depart Serengeti and drive to Ngoro Ngoro conservation area. Overnight in the lodge.
Day 5:- Ngoro Ngoro –Arusha
After an early breakfast Descend 600 meters (2200 feet) into the crater to watch the wildlife for a half-day game drive. The crater host a variety of wild animals and it offers a unique aspect of safari tour covering the expansive crater surrounded by hilly walls rising over the floor. After picnic lunch, proceed towards the exit climbing out of the massive hole via a steep meandering road. Drive downwards via the forested zone to exit the conservation area. Drive on for 2 hours to Arusha for a hotel overnight.
